Dimension Filters
Dimension filters let you narrow query results by text columns without re-running the query. They appear as filter chips above the results table or chart.
How filters appear
ProofPod automatically generates filter chips for text columns that have more than one unique value. For example, if your query returns a region column with values "West", "East", and "Central", a Region filter chip appears.
Columns with only one unique value are not shown as filters (there's nothing to filter).
Using filters
- Click a filter chip to open a dropdown with checkboxes
- Check or uncheck values to include or exclude them
- Close the dropdown — results update immediately
You can apply multiple filters at once. Each active filter shows a badge with the count of selected values.
Clearing filters
- Click the Clear filters button to reset all filters at once
- Or open an individual filter and re-check all values
Filters and views
Filters apply to both table and chart views. If you switch between Table and Chart, your active filters persist.
Filter selections are included when you save a Look, so your team can load a pre-filtered view.
