Connect Your Data
ProofPod needs historical data to design experiments and measure results. You have three options for getting data in.
Integration (Recommended)
Connect directly to your point-of-sale or membership system. ProofPod currently supports:
| Platform | Connection Type | Auto-imports Locations? |
|---|---|---|
| Mindbody | OAuth (Site ID required) | No (use import wizard) |
| Square | OAuth | Yes |
| ClubReady | API Key + Store/Chain ID | No |
Integrations automatically sync your transaction and membership data on an ongoing basis. This is the easiest path—once connected, your data stays up to date without manual work.
To connect: Go to Settings → Integrations and follow the prompts for your platform. See Integrations for detailed setup instructions.
Synced Events
If your data lives in a warehouse (Snowflake, BigQuery, or similar), ProofPod can pull from synced event tables. This option gives you the most flexibility—you control exactly which event types and categories flow into ProofPod.
During test creation, you'll select the event type that maps to your primary metric and optionally filter by category dimensions.
CSV Upload
For quick one-off analyses or platforms we don't integrate with yet, you can upload a CSV file directly.
- Drag and drop or browse to select your file (up to 50 MB)
- ProofPod auto-detects column mappings with confidence scores
- Review and adjust the mapping before confirming
- The system extracts location IDs and creates a dataset automatically
- Integration if your POS is Mindbody, Square, or ClubReady—set it and forget it.
- Synced Events if you have a data warehouse and want full control over what flows in.
- CSV Upload if you want to test quickly or use a platform we don't support yet.
What happens next?
Once your data is connected, you'll want to:
- Import your locations so ProofPod knows your store footprint
- Create your first test to run an experiment
